Biography

​

Shon Kim is an award-winning filmmaker and visual artist. He holds Ph. D. The Candidate in Animation Studies/Contents Producing from Chung-Ang University, MFA in Experimental Animation from California Institute of the Arts, BFA transfer in Film, Video, New Media, and Animation from School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and BA in Law from Hanyang University.

He has worked at ABRI INC, ILLUMINATED METROPOLIS INC, French Bulldog Productions LLC as a Professional Artist, and at Early Bird Pictures INC. as an Art Director. He also has served as a programmer at Slamdance Film Festival and as a Jury at Cinemasports.

He currently works in New York.
